The Riches are NOT Necessarily in the Niches

I can’t imagine spending my days and life diving deep into just one or two niches. There’s too much to do. There are too many exciting options.

Ever since I was a young boy, I’ve always appreciated the life of Leonardo da Vinci. Visiting the Museo Leonardo Da Vinci in Florence was one of the highlights of my last trip to Italy a few years ago.

Leonardo da Vinci was a great painter. He was also a draftsman, engineer, scientist, theorist, sculptor, and architect. He’s revered for his technological ingenuity and for conceptualizing flying machines, a type of armored fighting vehicle, and a ratio machine that could be used in an adding machine. He made substantial discoveries in anatomy, civil engineering, hydrodynamics, geology, optics, and tribology.

The Truth Matters

Being honest and telling the truth is like a lighthouse guiding ships through the stormy seas of life, shining a beacon of clarity and trustworthiness in the midst of confusion and uncertainty, and guiding us towards safe harbors of connection, understanding, and meaningful relationships.

The truth is a powerful force that shapes our lives, our relationships, and our society. It is the foundation of trust, integrity, and authenticity. Without truth, we cannot make informed decisions or build meaningful connections with others.

The truth matters because it allows us to navigate the world with clarity and purpose.

Unfortunately, in today’s world, the truth is often obscured by misinformation, propaganda, and deception. It can be difficult to discern what is real and what is not. Over time, the truth becomes lost in a sea of misinformation. It becomes harder and harder to find. To many, its importance is replaced by tribalism, money and greed.
But here’s the deal. The truth matters and is worth fighting for, because it is the key to a better world.

I dive deep into this topic in this week’s LinkedIn article.

The Twitter Clown Show

Alright folks, let’s cut to the chase: Twitter’s a complete and utter clown show. I mean, Elon’s really gone and screwed the pooch on this one.

But hey, don’t get me wrong – before the misinformed Tesla guy came along, I invested more time and energy into this platform than I care to admit. I’m talking 60K tweets, people. That’s a whole lotta brain cells I ain’t getting back.

But you know what? I’m not giving up on social media altogether. No sirree. I’m taking my talents and spending more time over to the Post and Mastodon sandboxes. Sure, they might not have the same level of clout as Twitter, but at least I won’t have to wade through a sea of hot takes, massive misinformation, and political BS every time I log on.

So if you’re feeling fed up with the Twitterverse and all its clowns constantly juggling nonsense in your face, come on over and kick the tires on some of these alternative platforms. Who knows, you might just find your new social media home.
