Read the Twitter vs Elon Musk Lawsuit

elon mush twitter lawsuit

Elon Musk entered into an agreement to buy Twitter for $44 billion dollars.

Several months later, Musk is now alleging that Twitter breached the deal by failing to provide him with data needed to evaluate bot and spam accounts. Twitter denies his allegations and has filed a 60-plus-page lawsuit accusing Musk of breaching the agreement and seeking to compel him to follow through with the deal.

This is the lawsuit. Give it a read. What do you think is going to happen next?

PS- If you’re a lawyer (or play one on TV), who would you rather represent? Twitter or Elon Musk? Please share your answer in my Twitter or LinkedIn polls.

1000 Miles!

Mitch standing on a running path smiling with dark blue sunglasses on and wearing a blue cap

After two years of running, I hit the 1,000-mile mark during yesterday’s 5.6-mile run on July 4, 2022. At 64 years of age, this number didn’t come easy, but it was a good reminder that small, consistent daily steps, over time, can lead to some pretty interesting outcomes.

I grew up on a ranch outside of Tucson, Arizona. The state capital, Phoenix, is about 111 miles away up Interstate 10. If you were to tell me back in the early days that in 50 years, I’d run the equivalent from Tucson to Phoenix 9 times in two years, I would have said you were crazy.

Fast forward back to this week.

Why I’m Proud To Be a Trial Lawyer (My Rant)!

Mitch Jackson Trial Lawyer

The rights and liberties our ancestors fought and died for (independence, due process, and equal protection) are now, for the most part, given less thought by most Americans than who’s going to get a rose on “The Bachelor.” More people know the names of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” or  YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram influencers than the names of their political representatives or our U.S. Supreme Court justices. It’s not OK, and I need to get this off my chest.

My name is Mitch Jackson and I’ve been a trial lawyer for three decades. Being a trial lawyer is something I’m proud of. Because of what I’m watching right now in this country, I feel the need to share the following. I hope you take a few minutes and read this entire post. I also hope you share it with people who need to be reminded about the things I discuss.

How to Tell if Someone is Lying (tips from a savvy trial lawyer)

Tell the truth by Mitch Jackson

Every single day we struggle with trying to figure out who’s telling the truth. Social audio rooms like Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces are all full of false self-proclaimed experts and digital foxes trying to make their way into digital hen houses.
