Mark Pattison Just Climbed Mt. Everest. He’s the First NFL Player to Conquer The Seven Summits!

Last month Mark successfully climbed and summited Mt. Everest, the highest mountain on the planet. By doing so, he became the first NFL player in history to make it to the top of The Seven Summits, the highest mountains on each of the seven continents.

In addition to being a former NFL football player and successful high altitude mountain climber, Mark is also an accomplished entrepreneur, philanthropist, podcaster, and executive at Sports Illustrated. Watch the show to find out what motivates this man to do what he does. Learn his mindset to help you move forward in 2021!

One of Mark’s primary motivations is his dedication to his daughter, Emilia, who is overcoming her own Everest by defeating epilepsy (uncontrolled and sometimes fatal seizures). Currently, more than 3.4 million people in the U.S. have epilepsy (1 in 26 people), with 3,000 people dying each year from Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). Mark shares a few ways we can all help Emilia, and others, defeat epilepsy.
