Last Friday, Clubhouse updated its app allowing you to share your unique Profile and Club links. For the first time, you can now share these links with your social media community.
Why is this important? Because you can now quickly and easily share your valuable Clubhouse brand and activities with your audience. It makes it easy for people to connect and follow you on the platform.
To help you do this, I’ve put together 10 easy and powerful ways to share your new Clubhouse links:
#1: Share links in your social media profile bios. For example, think about including an invitation to connect with you on Clubhouse in your Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram profiles. Maybe something like:
“Let’s stay connected on Clubhouse. Click https://www.joinclubhouse.com/@mitchjackson and get powerful tips in my Club, “Marketing and Social Media for Lawyers” https://www.joinclubhouse.com/club/marketingandsocialmediaforlawyers
(Pro-Tip- I’m doing this but using Tips #4 and #5 to make the links shorter and easier to share)
#2: Share links in your social media posts. When posting about topics that relate to your activity on Clubhouse, let your audience know they can get more real-time information or engage in real-time conversation on the topic over on Clubhouse. Then, share your links.
#3: Share links in email signatures. Think about adding your Clubhouse links to one of your email signature templates.
#4: Use bit.ly to shorten and share your links. You can also grab a .club domain from GoDaddy and forward your domain to your Clubhouse profile like I did with MitchJackson.club (I think this is pretty slick).
#5: Include in your Linktr.ee list. Click here to see how I did this.
#6: Share using “Click to Tweet.” When someone clicks on your hyperlink, it includes your Clubhouse link(s) in the tweet. You can craft your own tweet to compliment your blog or social media post. Here’s an example I’m using. Give it a try by clicking here.
#7: Share links (mention) during your podcast and in your podcast show notes. Mine is here.
#8: Share links (mention and use bottom one-thirds) during your videos and live videos. StreamYard allows you to do this and so much more. Also, make sure to include the links in your related video descriptions.
#9: Amazon Flash Updates. Share links (mention) during your flash briefings and in your podcast show notes. Here’s what I’m doing.
#10: Business Cards. Add “Let’s connect on Clubhouse!” followed by your link (use your bit.ly or Linktr.ee link to keep things short). You can even print labels with the links and attach them to the back of 10-20 cards. This way you have your professional cards for work but, when you run into the right person, you can also easily share your Clubhouse links with your other cards. I do this when I speak at conferences all the time. In fact, I actually have two sets of business cards. One for my law practice, and another set for my social media and entrepreneurship keynotes. I use Moo.
Bonus #11: Create an update page. Include a call to action with your links. See Streaming.Lawyer/mitch
