Brian Halligan CEO Hubspot

Brian Halligan is co-founder and CEO of HubSpot and the co-author with Dharmesh Shah of one of my “go to” books titled, “Inbound Marketing: Get Found Using Google, Social Media, and Blogs.”

Prior to HubSpot, Brian was a venture partner at Longworth Ventures and a VP of sales at Groove Networks, which was later acquired by Microsoft. Brian’s first book is titled, “Marketing Lessons from the Grateful Dead.”

Brian and Dharmesh had a vision for the inbound experience and developed HubSpot’s platform to support it. With their powerful, easy to use, integrated set of applications, businesses just like yours can attract, engage, and delight customers by delivering inbound experiences that are relevant, helpful, and personalized. According to HubSpot’s website, it is on a mission to make the world more inbound, one business transformation after another.

Of further note is the fact that Brian serves on the boards of directors of Fleetmatics Group (FLTX), a global provider of fleet management solutions, and the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange (MITX). He was also named Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011 and one of Glassdoor’s 25 Highest Rated CEOs in 2014.
