Ruth Carter is the Flash Mob Lawyer

Ruth is building a national reputation as the go-to flash mob lawyer. Her firm also handles areas of law aimed at serving entrepreneurs, innovators, creators, and performers including intellectual property and social media law.

She’s written several books on blogging and at her site and blog, routinely shares legal blogging and law school survival tips, and advises readers not to “lose your personality when you get your JD.”

To get a good, quick, overall idea of where Ruth is coming from, I share her quote in the ABA Journal,

“When I started law school, I drank the Kool-Aid thinking I needed to be in the top 1 percent of my class, hide my piercings and tattoos, and aspire to be a judicial clerk or big-law firm lawyer,” “But I realized very fast that the classic, conservative lawyer ideas weren’t for me.”

Ruth’s building a fascinating practice in Phoenix Arizona and I wanted to share just a small bit of her with you, tattoos, piercings and all, during our interview. Enjoy the show!
